Destiny Delaney and her six year old brother Michael witness the murder/suicide of their parents. Now separated in foster homes, Destiny runs away to Minneapolis Mn to work the streets. Her best friend and street mentor is brutally murdered by a serial killer who has been murdering young prostitutes. Destiny barely escapes from hands of the killer, but at a price, she has seen the killers face. The killer knows it must kill Destiny to stop her from revealing his/her identity to FBI Special Agent Cole Kingston. The killer is on a mission to capture its true victim, and has only used the young prostitutes as decoys. When the truth comes out, the FBI will be shocked to see who in fact the killer is and why it needed to kill.

This was a difficult review to write. I really enjoyed the characters, the plot and the writing style but I was very distracted from the story by the spelling errors, the grammar errors, the syntax errors and the lack of proofreading overall. I would have been very happy to give this book four or five stars based on the story but given the errors I am generously giving it three. I read voraciously (eight to ten books a week minimum) and I cannot get passed proofreading errors in books. They seriously distract from the story and cast the authors credibility in doubt. I realize that all books have some errors but this has surpassed anything I have ever seen in print, electronic or otherwise.Ms. Durbin, if you read your amazon reviews, please get someone (or someone else, if you already have a proofreader) to proofread your work. You have a great deal of talent and have very good potential as an author but without serious effort on your part to clean up the proofreading errors, it's likely you will continue to self publish and will lose any reader following you have. If you do not have a good candidate, I would volunteer to prevent this from happening to you! You have a great writing style and I love your ideas of what your books are supposed to do for people. Please continue writing but please get a proofreader that can help you.

I almost enjoyed reading this story. It had great, memorable characters and an engrossing problem. Yet, lack of editing in spelling and punctuation seriously interfered with the story. I removed the story from my kindle because I know I'll never want to read it as it is again.
This was a WOW book. The beginning was a little rocky and I wasn't sure where it was going to go but I stuck with it and I am so glad I did because it didn't take long to turn into the mind boggling story with twists and turns in the story line to totally captivate the reader. I would definitely recommend this book to others and can't wait to see if the author writes another.

I have never read a book with so many grammar and spelling errors. The editor for this book should be fired. I was raised to respect the English language and use proper grammar and spelling. There were so many errors, I could hardly read it, and in fact put it down before I finished it. The story line was stupid and I would not read anything else by this author.
The story line is good. There are numerous typos that distracted me though. Left me wondering if you had proof read it. Wrong tense, poor grammar, just plain wrong word. Maybe a little m ore attention to detail.

This was easy read , very enjoyable surprise ending recommed for those who enjoy this type of read
It appears to be written by a sixth grader perhaps. The grammar throughout the entire book (every page) is atrocious. There was no spell check done, no editing; words were used improperly and adverbs used inappropriately. Words such as were,we're and where were not done properly and also their, there and they're. One word should have been maybe erupted and it was erection...One moment the character is sobbing hysterically, then she is yelling and then she is smirking. Every page is like this and it just got old. Not really sure how these books were able to be published without an editor and proofreading. Unfortunately I bought all 3 books and hoped the second one would be better, but it wasn't.. Finally gave up after a couple pages of Book 3, it was just too much...
