I waited and waited and waited to see what Jack and Tess got themselves into and then out of once again. Not only was I treated to a great story about these two, this book let me see more of Daniel and Kate. As a matter of fact, the story would have been quite simple without them. As usual, there is romance AND mystery, told in a way that the reader is sure (s)he would recognize the characters if (s)he met them waking down the street and would enjoy friendly conversation with them over coffee. Ms. Harte writes in a style that is better than that of most "Kindle romance" authors. She seems to be able to include the more serious themes that I studied in college, such as conflict, to keep the story on a deeper tone than the simple auto-published lighthearted romances we usually see. I am eagerly awaiting her promised Christmas novella about all the folks in this book, and I am hoping for yet more stories about my friends Jack, Tess, Cora, Daniel, and Kate in the future.Product details

So excited Book five is here!! I'm a fan of Jack and Tess, but in this book we get to learn a little more about Daniel and Kate, with the right amount of Jack and Tess involved to keep us from missing them. Absolutely love the case Jenna Harte takes us on, and true to form takes us on many twists and turns of this mystery,
this is a must have series, if you love mystery and romance, you will fall in love with Jack and Tess!!!

Another great Valentine book. Love following Tessa and Jack in all Tess's adventures. Really enjoyed Daniel and Kate in the mix. Always enjoy the humor and mystery Harte adds in her books. Well written an always hard to put down!
I really enjoy the Valentine mysteries, and Number Five was definitely worth the wait! If you've read the other books in this series, you will appreciate how comprehensive this installment is--the main characters that we've grown to love and most of the supporting characters we also love have "read time" in To Love, Honor, and Kill. It's always a joy to read about Tess and Jack, but here we get to read a lot more about Daniel and Kate. I loved the snippets about Cora and the Senator, too. Once again, Jenna does a great job developing the mystery, and the investigation into an old murder is intriguing. I love this series and hope we continue to read about Tess and Jack for a long time to come!
I love the valentines! Took me awhile to get into this one but once I did I really enjoyed it.
Could not read fast enough, and I did not want the book to end. Love this series.
This is the fifth book in a series. It is wonderful! Adventure, mystery, and romance are the best in this. Once you start reading, it is extremely hard to put down. My only concern is I'm getting to the end of the series. I really love all of them!
Another winner! I love Jack and Tess and it is great to see them happy and thriving in this story! I have always been intrigued by Daniel and Kate and was thrilled to finally see them face their feelings! I really liked their romance and seeing their ups and downs. The mystery was great and paced well. I thought I knew the murderer's identity but I was wrong! Love when that happens! There were also enough red herrings to keep me guessing. I would have loved to have seen just a little bit more of Jack and Tess's relationship, but it was still a fantastic story!
